While Volkswagen is best known for the Polo, it is the Taigun SUV that has been stealing headlines across the country. The 5-seater SUV is currently available in the Performance Line and Dynamic Line variants. Under the hood of the Taigun sits a 1.0L Turbocharged petrol engine that generates 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque. The other engine option is a 1.5L Turbocharged petrol unit that produces 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Both the engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox while there is also an option for a 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DSG for the 1.0L and 1.5L engines, respectively.Â
