Price: Slavia is priced between Rs 11.39 lakh and Rs 18.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: It can be had in three broad variants: Active, Ambition and Style. The Style trim gets the new Anniversary edition.

Colours: Skoda offers the Slavia in five colour options: Crystal Blue, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver and Candy White. The Anniversary edition comes with a new Lava Blue shade.

Boot Space: It has a boot space of 521 litres.

Engine and Transmission: Slavia comes with two turbo-petrol engine options: a 1-litre unit (115PS/178Nm) and a 1.5-litre unit (150PS/250Nm). Both of these engines are paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard. For automatic options, the smaller engine gets a six-speed torque converter and the bigger one comes paired with a seven-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic).

To boost fuel efficiency, the 1.5-litre engine uses cylinder deactivation technology to switch off two of the four cylinders when under less load.

Features: Features on board the Slavia include an eight-inch touchscreen, cruise control, and automatic climate control. It also gets an eight-inch digital driver’s display, a single-pane sunroof and ventilated front seats. The Anniversary edition of the sedan gets a 10-inch touchscreen display.

Safety: On the safety front, it gets up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill-hold assist and a rear parking camera.

Rivals: The Skoda Slavia is a rival to the Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City and Volkswagen Virtus.
